Colonial Shores Cottages

We loved our 3-night stay in Cottage #8 and have the best things to say about Colonial Shores. We are already planning a return trip - the staff is lovely and they lent my son a fishing rod for our stay. We enjoyed having the convenience of the pool, a playground, the grill, the fire pit and beautiful Bay views. The birds chirping and flowers in bloom really set the tone for a lovely stay. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing place to hang out with your family if you are looking for a simple and cozy accommodations in a beautiful place and not break the bank. We booked the simplest room with two queen size beds, just to enjoy being around Hampton Bays and we were received like family by the owners who were having a family party by the pier when we happened to arrive. They welcomed us and hosted us like one of their own, they even fed us dinner and drinks as if were part of their family. We were so surprised and so grateful but their generosity and hospitality. We will definitely come back!

Originally booked this in late 2019 hoping to come in 2020... so I've had 2years to ponder whether this was the right place to stay. We've just come home after spending 5nts here and it was absolutely fantastic. Perfect little cabins/rooms, beautiful views, site is absolutely immaculate. Pool is lovely, very quiet well run venue. Linens changed/tided more often than at big name chain hotels (where we stayed earlier in vacation). Thank you for a perfect time.

Our stay was very short, but incredible. Colonial Shore Cottages is a hidden gem. From the park-like grounds, to the cleanliness and comfort. But the best part was the Customer-Service. They went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We already have another night booked next month and can't wait to come back soon!

We just had a great stay at Colonial Shores. Mia, Karen and the whole staff were so friendly and helpful. Our 2-br room was super clean and the water views were gorgeous. We grilled outdoors and enjoyed the swimming pool. We have already booked our return trip!

This motel lived up to my expectations. Everything was basically as described. It was a little unusual having a locked office and always needing to ring the bell. The floors in our cottage left your feet very dirty (as I read in another review). Otherwise we enjoyed our experience. Great for kids, it is quiet and private and a good location for the price. The pool was clean and inviting as well. If the floor issue was taken care of, I’d happily stay here again.

Perfect getaway location! Rooms are all updated! We stayed at one of their two bedroom cottages and it was perfect! Had a few issues come up with air conditioning not working and they had everything up and running within the hour! Amazing hosts and we will be back again!

We stayed at the Colonial Shores in Hamptons Bay this past weekend and we just really had an amazing time! From the cleanliness of the cottage, to their amenities, top that off with their superb service, this place is really a gem. Their location is also great. There’s nothing negative to say about this place but if there’s one thing, we wish we stayed much longer! But we also love it that much that we already booked for next year! Thanks again for our great stay, that not only my husband and I loved it, but my girls as well.
